Bindaree Food Group is heading to Clermont on Thursday 2 July as part of their producer roadshow events,
giving local cattle producers the chance to hear direct from the Bindaree livestock team, market specialists
and guest speakers.
The event is designed to provide practical insights on markets, carcase performance and animal health, and
what processors are looking for in cattle over the next 12–18 months.
Producers will hear from Bindaree Food Group CEO Andrew McDonald on the global trade environment,
livestock nutrition specialist Desiree Jackson on optimising returns through targeted nutrition, and from
Clermont Veterinary Surgery, Dr Nick Myers on achieving tick clearance and the practical protocols involved.
Hosted with a complimentary light lunch, the sessions will also be an opportunity for producers to ask
questions, share feedback and connect with the Bindaree livestock team one-on-one.
“Our business only works because of the producers who back us year in, year out,” said Zac McInerney, Group
General Manager Livestock at Bindaree Food Group. “These roadshow events are about listening, being
upfront about what we’re seeing in the market, and hopefully sending people home with one or two practical
ideas they can put to work on their own operation.”
Topics will include livestock procurement and pricing signals, carcase feedback and data, animal health and
compliance, and how producers can position their operations to capture value in a changing market.
